Isabel’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of Isabel Jessie Martin nee Thompson announce her passing on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019, at the Corner Brook Long Term care Facility in Corner Brook, NL, at the age of 90 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Bill (Diane) Martin of Arnold’s Cove, NL, Maisie (Raymond) Ginn of Brampton ON, Alvin (Linda) Martin of Pasadena, NL, Derrick (Betty) Martin of Orangeville ON, Glenn Martin of Brampton ON, Brian (Margie) Martin of Halifax, NS, and Darrell (Shelley) Martin of New Zealand, her many grandchildren, and great grandchildren, her siblings; Jean Manuel of Pasadena, Beryl (Ford) Hancock of Botwood, NL, Patsy (Ralph) Paul of Pt. Leamington, NL, Ford (Marg) Thompson of Botwood, NL, and Bill (Ruth) Thompson of P.E.I, her brother-in-law; Edgar Abbott of Musgrave, Hr, NL. Isabel was predeceased by her parents; William and Fanny Thompson, her sister; Shirley Abbott, her brother; Stan (Faye) Thompson, and brother-in-law; Albert Manuel. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended families and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the United Church in Pasadena, NL, on Friday, June 21st, 2019, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019, at 11:00 am, with Rev Andrew Wright officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery in Pasadena, NL.
The families would like to thank the Dr’s and nurses and staff of the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility, in Corner Brook, NL, for your personal care for our mother, Thank – You!
