Iris passed peacefully at home in her daughter Wendy’s arms. Iris was a war bride and travelled from England in 1945. Daughter to the late Charles Edgar Stovell and Daisy May (née Humberstone). Sister to the late Olive and Hedley and sister in law to Carmen. Wife of the late Robert (Bob). Beloved mother of Wendy and “Gram” to special son in law David (Janice). Mother of Wayne (Cyndie) and Diane (Joe).
Grandma to Sarah (Tiffany), Simon (Véronique), Ryan (Natalia), Jason and Jennifer. Great grandmother of Mia, Livia, Amber and Christopher.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
For those who wish, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Dementia Society.
