Pilon, Gerald George – It is with heavy hearts that the Pilon family announce Gerry’s passing at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday June 23rd, 2019 at the age of 60 yrs.
Beloved son of Marg (nee Mantha) and the late Emery “Zag” Pilon (Aug. 29, 2016). Loving father to Christa Rogers. Dear brother of Cliff (Belinda Brown) and Richard (JoAnne). He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Cynthia Collission (Peter), Josee Bourdeau (Jason), Sophie Bois (Erik), Mathieu Marleau-Pilon and Danielle Marleau-Pilon as well as his cousin Danny Pilon and close friends Mike and Lidia Labelle. He was also predeceased by his grandparents Josephine & Adelard Mantha and Virginia & Aime Pilon.
Gerry loved the outdoors and was an avid fisher. His most prized possessions where related to fishing and the outdoors. He was also known for his love of NASS Car Racing and he is depicted wearing a Jeff Gordon jacket and hat, while at the last 2015 race at the Homestead Florida Race Way. During the past five years, while dealing with Cancer, he was very involved with caring for our parents and was always available to help family and friends.
