POWELL, HILDA “DOROTHY” EVELYN –
Peacefully entered into rest with her family at her side on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 at Moira Place Long Term Care Facility, Tweed. Dorothy Powell (nee Carter) formerly of Bleeker Avenue, Belleville died at the age of 94. She was the daughter of the late Robert & Gertrude Carter (nee Saunders) and wife of the late Charles Alwyn Powell. Dorothy was the loving mother of Carol Pascoe (Wayne) of Belleville, Linda Marvin (David) of Hartington, Charles (Kathleen) of Enterprise, Eric (Heather), and Trevor (Karen) all of Belleville. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Shane(Siân), Darren(Tory), Michelle(Mike), Lana(Andrew), Marissa, Zach(Ariel), Ben, Tracey(Jeff), late Scott(surviving Debbie) and Tyler and by her great grandchildren: Charlie, Georgia, Ruby, Sydney, Kyle, Julia, Spencer, Jagger, Madison, Hannah, Hayden, Landon, Christian, and Tucker. Dorothy is survived by her brother Eric Carter (Lynne) of Stittsville and is predeceased by her brother Norman Carter. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Powell is resting at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588) for visitation on Wednesday, June 19th from 6:00 till 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday, June 20th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Belleville Cemetery.
