Obituary of Desmond Stephen Yolkowskie
It is with sadness that we announce Desmond’s passing at Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Thursday June 13, 2019 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Margaret Stofko for 62 years. Dear son of the late Gertrude (nee) Boisvert and the late Paul Yolkowskie. Dear Dad of Richard (Cathy), Cathy (Laurier Bennett), Angela and Mary-Anne. Predeceased by his son Randall. Proud grandpa of Ashley (Christian Ste-Marie), Lindsay (Brent Leech) and Robyn Cunningham. Loving great-grandpa of Byron, Madeleine and Julien. Survived by his sister Betty (Merville Riopelle). Predeceased by his sisters Druscilla (Dominic) Voldock, Rita Guilbeault, Anastasia Coulas (Dominic) and Agnita Riopelle (Omer) and his brother Donald.
The family wishes to thank the Renfrew Victoria Hospital nursing staff and Dr. Noreen Wang for the wonderful care that they gave their father. Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S, Renfrew on Monday June 17th from 2-4, 7-9 pm and after 9 am Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Renfrew on Tuesday June 18th at 10:30 am. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
