With heavy hearts, the family of Deanna Smith announces her passing, which occurred on June 20th, 2019 at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home. Deanna was born in St. Martins on November 30, 1946; a daughter of the late Arthur and Kathleen (McIntyre) Weston, and the loving wife of the late Wesley Smith. Surviving are her sons Scott (Chris Poirier) and Michael, sister Dianne Love (James), and grandson Andreas Pedersen, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visiting on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 9am. Interment will take place in the Browns Cemetery, Bains Corner. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, Bobby’s Hospice, or TrueLife Church would be appreciated.
