Daniel “Danny” MacPherson Barnet
April 29, 1950 – June 24, 2019
The passing of Daniel “Danny” MacPherson Barnet of Kingsley, NB, occurred on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 29, 1950 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late James “Jim” and Grace (McCrea) Barnet. Danny worked on the family farm for several years and was a carpenter by trade. He loved country music, listening to DVDs and CDs; he also enjoyed sketching pictures.

Danny is survived by his sisters, Lois Sandwith (Donald Johnson) and Kathy Graham (George); brothers, Dale Barnet and Ross Barnet (Kathy); several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law, John Sandwith and sister-in-law, Lucille Barnet.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 12-2 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2 pm with Rev. Joanne Barr officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Neill and Scott Sandwith, Mark and Matthew Graham, Jim and Jeremy Barnet. Interment will take place in Seymour Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Seymour Memorial Cemetery or the charity of the donor’s choice. Special thanks to the many caregivers for their care and compassion shown to Danny over the past several years. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
