Andrew Llewellyn Pinsent
Passed away in hospital on June 20, 2019. Born on October 5,1928 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, second eldest of ten children. Beloved husband of Betty (Morrison) for 67 years, dearly loved father of Debbie Peterson (Bryan McConachie) and Andrea Vornbrock. Cherished Poppa of Jami Rundle (Tristan), Trevor (Jolene) and Jordan (Van) Vornbrock. Darling great-grandfather to Audrey Rundle and soon-to-arrive baby boy Vornbrock. Predeceased by siblings Geraldine, Cecil, Roland and Alex. Survived by siblings Norma, Stewart, Margaret, Marie and Lorraine.
Throughout his life Andy was a man of integrity and strength. He was happiest surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Our sincere gratitude to the Alta Vista Baptist Church community and the special workers and staff of 5-East at the General Campus of the Ottawa Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the building fund at Alta Vista Baptist Church in Andy’s memory would be gratefully accepted.
Friends are invited to the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Monday June 24, 2019 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm and on Tuesday June 25, 2019 at Alta Vista Baptist Church, 887 Canterbury Avenue from 1 pm until the Memorial Service at 2 pm.
