COTTREAU, Emma – Age 85, of La Villa Acadienne, Meteghan, formerly of Concession, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 in La Villa surrounded by family. Born in Concession, she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Therese (Comeau) Comeau. She is survived by her husband, Jean, Meteghan; step-children, Roland Cottreau, Comeauville; Claudette (Medon) Jesso, North Bay, Ont.; Janice (Roger) Titus, St. Alphonse; brother, Wilson (Jeannette) Comeau, Concession; step-grandchildren, John Jesso, Cecile Jesso-Stewart, Michael “Mike” Cottreau, Daniel “Dan” Cottreau and Ashley Titus; step great-grandchildren, Mannix Stewart and Grayson Cottreau. She was predeceased by sisters, Celeste and Lennie. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, in Meteghan Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Concession, with burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to La Villa Acadienne or Canadian Diabetes Association. The family would like to thank the staff of La Villa Acadienne, Dr. Chandler and Dr. Blinn for their compassion and the excellent care given to Emma during the last few years.
