Gloria Rose Ulmer June 23rd 2019

Gloria Rose Ulmer (nee Fuchs), late of White City, SK, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the age of 58 years. She was predeceased by her father Henry Fuchs and niece Taylor Huber. Gloria is survived by her husband Gregory Ulmer; daughters Diedre (Matt Zaba) Ulmer and Savanna (Keir) Glazier; granddaughter Imogen Glazier; mother Orma Fuchs; siblings Lynda Rutledge, Dolly Huber, and Robert Fuchs; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Gloria was born in Grenfell, SK to Henry and Orma Fuchs (nee Main). She was raised in Grenfell alongside older sister Lynda and younger siblings Dolly and Robert. Gloria married Greg Ulmer in 1982 and had two daughters Diedre and Savanna. She took her schooling at Grenfell High and SIAST. Gloria worked for Canada Post in Grenfell for 32 years and also did the accounts for the family business Ulmer Construction for 23 years. She could often be found running Diedre and Savanna around the province for voice lessons and competitions. In later years she split her time between Grenfell and Cancun, Mexico where her favourite pastime was collecting shells on the beach.
At Gloria’s request a private cremation will be followed by a family memorial service and interment at a later date.
Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan (CancerFoundationSask.ca).
