Rose Marie Grassi
Peacefully on June 23, 2019 at the age of 89, with loving family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Romano Grassi (1986). Dear sister of Cecilia Ruthven and Nelson Farmer and predeceased by Francis and Josephine, Leo and Charlotte, Mark and Pauline, Lucy and Jim, Anna and Norm. Cousin of Billie and Marie Ferriari. Lovingly remembered and adored by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews and many other dear friends. Also predeceased by her parents Delore and Leda Foucher.
Rose Marie retired from Bell Canada after 38 years of service. She was an avid bowler, and loved to volunteer her time at St. Vincent de Paul, Hotel-Dieu Hospital as a Eucharistic Minister, and was a lady usher at St. Patrick’s Church for many years. Rose Marie had a bubbly personality and a zest for life like no other. Her zeal was infectious and very much loved by all who knew her. Special thanks to Tom Holmes and Windsor West Clinic for their care over the years, and to Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus for their exceptional care during her final days.
