LABOW, Pearl (ne Goldstein) – In Toronto, with her loving family at her side, on Sunday, June 16, 2019, less than two months from her one hundred and second birthday. Beloved wife of the late David for fifty-two years. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Lynn and the late Chaim Krohmalnik, Gloria and Rick Leckner, Stephen and Sharon Labow. Loving grandmother of Daniel and April, Neil, Heather and Howard, Mitchell and Shari, Andrew and Simone, Lindsey and Lucas. Adoring great-grandmother of Jared, Jesse, Joshua, Noah, Matthew, Ethan, Lucas, Nolan, Karsten, and Jason – 10 great-grandsons! Dear sister and sister-in-law of Lee Gold, Bertha and the late Joey Goldstein. Predeceased by her sisters and their spouses, Sue and Joe Librach, Betty and Jack Anture, and Laura Singer; and by David’s brothers and their spouses, Bill and Mabel Labow, Issie and Pearl Labovitch, Jack and Shirley Labow, Nathan and Phyllis Labow, Cecil and Reva Labow, and Samuel Labovitch. Pearl was devoted and loving to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, brothers-and sisters- in-law, nieces, nephews, and virtually everyone that she knew. Everyone knew her as `Bubbi Pearl’ and will miss her, her fabulous muhn cookies and the best honey cake ever made. Special thanks to Lynn for her devoted and loving care. Shiva in Montreal at Ruby Foo’s Hotel, Wednesday following burial until 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Lynn and Stephen will be continuing shiva in Toronto Sunday and Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at 11 Townsgate Dr. #607. Gloria will be continuing shiva in Montreal at 1382 av. du Docteur-Penfield, from 1:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday.
