Passed away peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Joan for 65 wonderful years. Dear father of Joan (Gary) Gauthier, Doug, Patricia (Neil). Cherished grandfather of Chantal (Peter) and Martin (Stephanie). Walter will also be greatly missed by his brothers Steve (Rose) and Glen.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Headwaters Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Walter in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
