Verna Robertson Saturday May 18th 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma, Verna, on May 18, 2019, at the age of 87.
Verna is survived by her children, Jim (Marian), Barbara, Linda (Don), Marian (Greg); grandchildren, Keith (Melissa), Nick (Bobbi-Jo), Amanda (Christiaan), Candace (Douglas), Lindsay (Ryan), Don (Jenny), Ashley (Sean), Anthony (Lauren), Chad (Samantha); great-grandchildren, Hailey-Jo, Kaylee, Luca, Ryker, Kole, Lilly, Luci, Jacob, Owen, Kaiden, Chloe, Levi, Evelyn, and Karson; brothers, Larry, Ernie, Ron and Arnie; sister, Merlene, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James; parents, Walter and Marjorie; brother, Len; and sister, Kay.
Verna dedicated her life to her family. It began with her kids, carried on to her grandkids, but when the great-grandkids came along, that was her inspiration and drive. Verna lived to watch the kids play and enjoy Ingolf, helped care for them, and loved them like no other. All the kids knew where to go if they ever wanted ice cream, ruffles, pringles, any of the good treats, Great-Grandma had them!
Verna has left an impact on everyone around her with her kindness, love and stubbornness, which many will claim to have inherited (as a good thing). With heavy hearts of sadness today, each day forward will be filled with love, stories and countless memories. You will be forever loved, rest easy, G!
In keeping with Verna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a family service was held.
