Thyra Bonin
1945-2019
Thyra Donna Bonin, age 73, of Trenton, formerly of Baddeck,
passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in the Aberdeen Hospital. She was
born in Turtle Creek, New Brunswick. Thyra was retired from Alderwood
Rest Home, Baddeck. She was a very kind person who loved music,
baking, painting, gardening and hosting kitchen parties. Her home was
her pride and joy. She also enjoyed her daily visits with her Tim
Hortons’ friends. She will be missed by her husband, Ivan
Bonin; good friends, Kathy and John Kennedy; and her cat, Toby.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service by
request. Donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen
Palliative Care Society or a charity of choice. Arrangements are under
the direction of the R.H. Porter Funeral Home.
