Stephen Hugh Chesney Wednesday May 22nd 2019

Steve passed away suddenly due to heart complications at his home on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Born in Clinton on July 22, 1966, Stephen Hugh Chesney of RR#1 Londesborough was in his 53rd year.
Loving companion and best friend of Dawn Graham. Cherished dad of Heather Chesney (Matt Gionet-Dean), and Heidi Chesney, all of London. Dear brother of Al Chesney (Betty Doig) of Seaforth. Also survived by his aunts and uncles, Marilyn Meinhardt (Bob) of Florida, Glenn Chesney (Marilyn) of Seaforth, Ted Novakowski (Roseanne) of Tillsonburg and Gary Novakowski (Brenda) of Tillsonburg. Steve will also be missed by his cousins, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Karen (née Awde) Chesney, his sister Janet Chesney, as well as his grandparents.
Steve had a passion for anything with a motor and wheels, from 18 wheelers to pickups and fast cars (as long as it wasn’t a Ford).
At Steve’s request his body has been bequeathed to medical science research at the University of Western Ontario in London. A celebration of life service will be held at the Seaforth Legion, Branch 156, on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 1 to 4 p.m., with words of remembrance at 3 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.
As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the SPCA (www.ontariospca.ca) would be appreciated. Online condolences can be forwarded by visiting Steve’s memorial at www.mcglynnfamilyfuneralhome.com
