Robin Scheniman formerly of Penetanguishene, passed away peacefully May 2nd, 2019 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Rob was an avid sports nut. From his school days on he could be found playing football, baseball, ball hockey, golf and hockey. When he wasn’t playing he would be found coaching, mentoring, refereeing and keeping stats. He literally spent 1000’s of hours volunteering.
A true sports card collector he amassed a collection of grand proportions. While others were tossing cards against the wall Rob would be meticulously storing his treasures.
A gentler more loyal soul would be hard to find.
Rob never married and is survived by his sister Lynn (Sam), brother Ted (Deb) and their children and grandchildren.
In keeping with Mr. Robin Scheniman’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service at this time. Cremation has taken place. In memory contributions to Princess Margaret Hospital or Silver Birches Pentecostal Camp will be greatly appreciated.
