It’s with great sadness that the family of Bobby LaPointe of Point La Nim, NB, announce with deep regrets, his death on Sunday, May 5th, 2019. He passed in the comfort of his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Bobby was born December 17, 1953 in Dalhousie, NB to Mathilda (Babe) Valdon and James F. Lapointe.
Bobby enjoyed life to the fullest, living in Alberta, Northwest Territories, The United Arab Emirates, Qatar, as well as travelling extensively throughout the world. He is survived by his beloved partner Dee D Cromwell, His step daughters Hayley (Aek) Cromwell of Vancouver BC, and Penny (Jordan) Heather of Fredericton NB. He also leaves behind his brothers David (Heather) LaPointe of Miramichi NB, Carl LaPointe of Moncton NB, sister Betty-Ann (late Clayton) Smith of Dalhousie, NB, Nephew David Smith of Airdrie AB, Christopher Lapointe Moncton NB, niece Shyanne Smith Bergeron of Dalhousie NB, Janet Wilde Hampton ME as well as great niece and nephews Blake and Cally Lapointe of Moncton, NB. Aaron Wilde of Hampton ME, Jillian Wilde of Hampton ME, Shane Bergeron and Keagen Beregeron of Dalhousie, NB. Bobby’s family would also like to extend a special thank you to all his friends (and poker buddies) Frankie, Grant, Danny P, Kato, Whif, Pat and Russ.
Family to do services at a later date. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
