In loving memory of Mr. Paul Chaylt who passed away at Extendicare Tri-Town Nursing Home, Haileybury, on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the age of 82.
Born January 13, 1937 in Elk Lake ON. Paul loved the outdoors hunting, fishing, nature in general. Later on his family moved to Krugerdorf, a small community north of Englehart. His father Donat worked on the railway. Over his life, he worked for the ONR out of Englehart, Natural Resources and Grant Waferboard right from the time they started to build. Paul love cross country skiing, bowling and curling. Also enjoyed being around family and friends.
Pre-deceased by his parents Donat and Rose, brothers Bernard, Harry, Johnny Chaylt and his daughter Bernadine.
He is survived by his sons Robin, Larry and Paul Jr.; step children Alice and Doug. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters Jeannie (Roy), Jackson, Teresa Gibbons and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family of the late Mr. Paul Chaylt will receive friends at the McDonald Funeral Home,
Englehart, Thursday, May 23, from 9:30 – 11:00am. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at McDonald Funeral Home LTD. on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 11:00 am. In memory contributions to the Tri-Town Extendicare – Haileybury will be greatly appreciated. The family of Paul Chaylt would like to thank all the special people that looked after our dad at the Tri-Town Extendicare. For their amazing care and support for the past 2 years and the Northview Nursing Home in Englehart. Condolences, contributions and memorial candles may be left at www.mcdonaldfuneralhome.ca.
