Smith, Murray (86 yrs) of Wentworth, N.S., passed away on April 30, 2019 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, Nova Scotia, following a massive stroke. He was born in Dalhousie, N.B on Feb 10, 1933 to William Hector Smith and Florence May “Maime” (Allen) Smith. Murray is pre-deceased by brothers, Guy, Fred, Reginald and Clayton; sisters, Pearl, Shirley, and Jean. He will be sadly missed by sister, Joyce Dickie; his daughter, Terrie (Bill) Chedore; sons, Chipman (Shirley), and Bill. As well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. Murray spent the last 33 years living in Wentworth, fishing and hunting with his best buddies, and doing carpentry work. The family is grateful for the care and attention provided by the 3rd floor staff at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. Cremation had taken place under the direction of Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. A memorial service will be held with family and friends in the summer.
