Mary Kay K Walton 1942 2019

Obituary for
Mary Kay “M.K.” Walton
Walton, Mary Kay “MK”:
Surrounded by her family, MK left this world to join her parents, sister, brother, as well as many favourite pets, free at last of oxygen tanks and rubber tubing! It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Mary Kay Walton on Monday, May 6, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener.
Loving spouse of Bev Nelson.
Dear sister of Michael Walton, the late Robert Walton and the late Sheila Carruthers (Larry).
Special aunt to many nieces and nephews but one of a kind special aunt to Terri Lay and David Carruthers. MK loved flowers, her garden and playing golf with the ladies of the Elmira Golf Club. MK spent the majority of her working years in the Group Insurance industry. She could work a room like no one else and I suspect she’s doing the same thing in heaven.
Special sister-in-law of Wayne, Helen, Ruth, Ross and Jeff.
Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews and her extended family.
Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Mary Walton.
A Celebration of Mary Kay’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation – Freeport Pulmonary or University of Guelph – OVC Pet Trust would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
