Obituary of Mark Edward Lobsinger
Mark Edward Lobsinger , June 8, 1958 – May 6, 2019
It is with deep sadness that Rick Lobsinger and Sylvia Smith announce the passing of
their brother Mark on Monday, May 6, 2019. Mark will also be remembered by Rick’s
wife Martha and their son Evan; Sylvia’s husband Gary, their son Nathan (Courtney)
and children Sebastian and Lincoln and his former wife Denise DeJong and her
daughter Stephanie Oldfield. As well, Mark is survived by his cousins Sharon (Barry)
Uhrig and Fred (Brenda) Bittner. Mark was predeceased by his father Sylvester, mother
Evelyn and brother John.
Growing up in the Kitchener area, Mark enjoyed participating in many sports, in
particular as a pitcher for the Waterloo CHYMers Fastball and a Minor Hockey coach.
Mark joined the Bank of Montreal working in area branches and completed his career in
Commercial banking 5 years ago. He loved his cottage time at Lake Wahwashkesh and
later moved to Grand Bend where he enjoyed many beach walks with his dog.
In respect of Mark’s wishes there will be no funeral service or visitation and the family
will honour him at a later date privately.
As a kind and generous man, Mark has arranged a donation in his name to Golden
Retriever Rescue, Barrie Ontario and International Wolf Centre, Ely Minnesota.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, Waterloo
