It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Penney announce her passing on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter: Shirley, sisters: Emmy and Annie; and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Robert; parents: Isaac and Lucy Loder; brothers: Victor, Bill Elmo and Max; sisters: Nellie and Irene. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Sunday, May 5th from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where Funeral service will take place, at the Chapel on Monday, May 6 at 10:30 a.m. with Major Frank Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
