In his 89th year, Louis passed away with family by his side at the Leamington Mennonite Home. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Breault) for 65 years. Loving father of Alan (Louanne), Ron (Carolyn), Michael, Louanne Zittlau (Paul). Cherished grandpa of Maegan Johnson (Mark), Matthew, Courtney Milanovich (Danny), Brianne Stipik (Rob), Ryan Tempich (Melissa), Steven Tempich, Brittany Tempich, Kailey Zittlau, Allyx Zittlau; and GG of Reese, Rylee, Colbie, Caylah, Pierce, Adeline, Thomas, Maeve. Predeceased by his dear sisters and their spouses Maggie Lockwood (Ray), Annie Niefer (Johnny), the late Margaret Patterson (Bob). Dear brother-in-law of the late Hank (the late Marie), the late Vincent (the late Erna), the late Don (the late Shirley), Neil, Rosemary Mitchell (Jerry). Survived by many nieces and nephews.Louis worked for the H.J. Heinz for 38 years as an engineer and was a consultant for Heinz for another 5 years upon his retirement. He also helped establish the Heinz Credit Union and then the transition to the original Sun Parlor Credit Union. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 4501, Leamington. He was a life member of Walkerville Deep Bay Hunt Club. Louis will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and thanks for their love and compassion shown to Louis and his family by the staff of the 1st and 2nd Floor in Long Term Care at the Leamington Mennonite Home. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at St. Michael’s Church, 29 Elliot Street, Leamington from 9:30 am until the time of Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 am.
