A funeral service will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3,
Harvey Station, NB on May 4, 2019 at 1 p.m. for Levio Godin, with Rev.
George Clark officiating. Interment will be at Sunny Bank Cemetery,
Magaguadavic, NB. A reception will follow at All Saints Anglican Hall
in Magaguadavic.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Levio, the family
has suggested the All Saints Anglican Church Hall (Parish of Prince
William) or Shannex.
Levio J. Godin of Magaguadavic, NB and formerly of Lorne, NB passed
away April 11, 2019 at Thomas Hall, Shannex, Fredericton, NB. He was
born in Lorne, NB in 1941, a son of the late Francis and Ella
(Carrier) Godin. Levio began working as a woods worker and then later
as a steel tier with several construction companies in New Brunswick.
In the early sixties he moved to Magaguadavic and made his permanent
home with Gordon and Ada Sloan. During his leisure time he enjoyed
playing his guitar, hunting and fishing with family.
He is survived by his sisters, Joan Cady, Lorne, NB, Suzanne Parent
(Ronald), Bathurst, NB, Inez Godin (Eric), Lorne, NB; his brothers,
Kenneth Godin (Shirley), Lorne, NB, Ivan Godin (Sandra), Jacquet
River, NB, and Preston Godin (Suzanne), Notre-Dame-des-Érables,
NB; a sister-in-law, Deanna Godin, Tracy, NB; Sloan family members,
Heather, Patsy, Kim and Rob and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Levio was predeceased by a brother George
Godin, a sister, Rita Hickey (late Norman), an infant brother, Gene
and an infant sister, Anne, and members of the Sloan family, Gordon
and Ada, Garnet and Hazel and Lenny.
