Leslie Les Campbell 2019

CAMPBELL, Leslie Rankin Bernard “Les”
Born August 3, 1926, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Hospice Huntsville on May 20, 2019 at 92 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Emma Mary Campbell (nee McDougall) who passed away September 1, 2014. Loving father of Lynne Winterfield and her husband Ted Winterfield and Cathie Stoliker. Cherished grandfather to Sean, Julie, Candice and Devin. Great grandfather to Mason.
Leslie enrolled in the Canadian Army in September 1944 where he met his wife Emma and they were happily married for 67 years. In 1973, Leslie, Emma, Lynne and Ted moved to Huntsville. Together they owned and operated the Valley Inn Restaurant and Motel on Highway 11 North. After many successful years of operation, the business sold in 1989 allowing Leslie and Emma to retire and enjoy their winters in Florida. In 2009 Leslie and Emma moved to Chartwell Traditions Muskoka to enjoy a very luxurious lifestyle in their senior years.
A celebration of life will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Chartwell Muskoka Traditions, 16 Legacy Lane, Huntsville.
