Laurie Edwin Beatty 19372019

Laurie Edwin Beatty
1937-2019
Laurie Edwin Beatty, of Riverview, passed away on Monday May
27, 2019 at The Moncton Hospital. He was the son of the late Perry and
Gladys (Keddy) Beatty. He was the former owner and founder of
Underground Services, following his retirement he missed the social
side of work, so he later went on to work for Kent as a greeter and
loved every moment of it.
Laurie was a former church warden at St. Andrews and St. John
the Baptist Anglican Churches, as well as a former member of The
Petitcodiac Kiwanis Club. He was very social, loved people, cherished
his family and friends, and was a fantastic storyteller. He also loved
to travel alongside his wife with their motorhome.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Judy (Robinson);
daughter, Jill Beatty; son, Tim (Anne) Beatty; sister, Marion (Clyde)
Guptill; brother, George Beatty, several nieces and nephews; as well
as his beloved four-legged best friend, Buddy. Besides his parents, he
was predeceased by his son-in-law, Dean Crandall.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the
doctors, nurses, staff and the whole team at The Moncton Hospital for
the exceptional care shown to their family.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on
Thursday May 30, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home,330
Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007). A private family service will be
