HACKETT, Lance John-entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Friday, May 10, 2019. Lance, in his 72nd year, was the dear son of the late John Hackett and Elsie Hatton. Much loved father of Lance Jr. and his wife Michelle and Sherry and her husband Kevin Bates all of Bobcaygeon. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Shilah and her husband Dan Smith, Brianna Hackett, Jayden Hackett, Keegan Bates and Hunter Bates and by his great granddaughters Evelyn and Lillian Smith. Dear brother of Linda (Paul) Corrigan, Laurie (John) Bryson, John (Rita) Hackett, Lisa (Dan) O’Brien and Jimmy (Nancy) Hackett. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. In keeping with Lance’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Stoddart Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) on Friday, May 17 from 1:00 P.M. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 3:00 P.M. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Ross Memorial Hospital-Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
