Passed away surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 72.
Loving father of Cameron Duncalf (Julie) and Sandi Brown (Steve).
Cherished grandfather of Bowen, Ellyott, Mady and Megan.
Dear brother of Marjorie Dietrich (Mark) and Pat Grass (Bill).
Survived by his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents William and Lillian Duncalf.
Ken was a proud business owner and was an extremely hard worker. He owned and operated Ken’s Carpet Care for over 30 years. He was a people person, with a big heart, who would do anything for anyone. He was a man who loved his Tim Horton’s coffee and donut and loved to enjoy a cold beer while watching his favourite sports!
Ken’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Private interment at Parkview Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
Special thanks to the nursing staff and doctors on the 6th floor at Grand River Hospital for their excellent care.
