It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Maclaren. Judy spent her life caring for others over her 30+ years as an LPN at Ridge Meadows Hospital, VGH and Vernon Jubilee. She brought that compassion home everyday to care for her family, and while enjoying babysitting, gardening, and being an avid dog lover. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the nurses of both the ICU and the 7th floor of the Vernon Jubilee Hospital for making a difference in the world every day. Judy is survived by her mother Mary Gillies, sister Susan (Bill) Hall, husband William, daughter Allison, son Mark, and grandchildren Reese Wilby and Ethan Wilby. Judy is predeceased by her father, Vernon Gillies. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 26th at Lakers Clubhouse (7000 Cummins Road, Vernon, BC) from 11am – 4pm. The family asks for bright colors to be worn. Donations in Judy’s name toward Palliative Care Suites at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation will be appreciated.
