John G.
Robinson, 70, of Riverview, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi
Regional Hospital on Friday, May 3, 2019. Born in Moncton, he was the
son of the late Clifford and Arlene (Gormley)
Robinson.
John was a
retired Carman with CN, with 37 years’ service. He was a
friend of Bill W. and he stayed until the end of the
meeting.
Survived by
his wife, Cindy (Jones) Robinson of Riverview; children, Jamie
Robinson (Angela) of Moncton, Alexandra Robinson (Chris) of Maine and
Andrew Robinson (Amy) of Wolfville, NS; his former wife and mother of
two of his children, Angelina Catalli; grandchildren, Grace, Kyle and
Carter; sisters, Margaret Chappell (late Walter) and Patricia Smith;
brothers, Adam (late Gail) and Michael Robinson; mother-in-law, Kaye
Bulmer (late Jack). In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by
a sister, Ella Lutes (late
Purdy).
The family
wishes to thank the entire team of the ICU at the Miramichi Regional
Hospital for the care John
received.
Visitation
at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on
Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm, with a
Sharing of Memories beginning at 7:15 pm. Interment will be in Fair
Haven Memorial Gardens.
John’s passion was encouraging and devoting
his time to AA. In John’s honour, memorials can be made to
