Obituary of Jessie Jean Johnston
It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Jessie Johnston, the beloved wife of the late Neill Johnston, on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the West Shore Village in Port Perry, at age 78. Loving mother of Joy and her husband Darold Davies of Oshawa, Melody Johnston and Robert Sweet of Lindsay, Cathy Johnston and Steve Legault of Blackstock, Harvey Johnston of Port Perry and the late Bryan Johnston. Devoted Granny of Shannon of Bowmanville, Holly (Brandon) of Bowmanville, Leah (Justin) of Seagrave, Lindsay (Brad) of Oshawa, Ashley (Mike) of Oshawa, Caylen of Blackstock, Carly of Blackstock, Katrina of Bowmanville and Maegan of Bowmanville. Cherished Granny to great grandchildren Kaydin, Trentin, Serenity, Londynn, Ryker, Aniyah, Kynslee, Nevaeh, Charlotte and Luka. Jessie will be remembered for her quick wit, kindness and love for her family.

The family of Jessie Johnston received friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, “McDermott-Panabaker Chapel”, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Wednesday, March 6th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Cartwright Union Cemetery, Blackstock.
