Pake, Jeanette Marie (nee Deswaef) – Jeanette a resident of Chatham, went to be with the Lord on Sunday May 19, 2019.
She was born on January 24, 1935 in Diksmuide, Belgium.
She was the daughter of the late Leopold and Emilie (nee Demeester) Deswaef.
Beloved wife of the late Samuel Pake (2004).
Cherished Mother of her late son, Richard William (Erica) Jackson and Michael Paul (Deborah) Jackson.
Loving Grandma of Kyle (Katie), Matthew (Patricia), Ryan Jackson (Sarah Bornais), Michael Jackson (Whitney Trudeau), Christopher Marco (Matt Jodoin), Heather (Rob) Demers, and Nicole Elliott (Eric Walsh).
Will also be missed by Meghen Jackson, Adam Kacan, Krissy Kacan, Shawn Kacan, and Jeffrey Kacan.
Proud Great-Grandma of Benjamin, Colin, Fallon, Taylor, Autumn, Emma Jane, Lorelai, and Remi.
Loving Sister of Jacqueline (the late Jack) Smith, John (Elaine) Deswaef and sister- in-law of Charlie (Marilyn) Jackson, Dorothy Cook (Jennifer Brown) and Wendy Jackson.
Dear Step-Mother of Linda Lannoo.
Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and several cousins in Belgium.
Predeceased by her sister Mary Louise (late Meroll) Sevcik, her brother Neville (late Marilyn) Deswaef, and brother-in-law Raymond Jackson.
Jeannette was a member of the St. Ursula Parish, The Catholic Women’s League and was in the Light of Christ Prayer Group Ministry.
The Jackson family will receive family and friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Wednesday May 22, 2019 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm.
Vigil prayers will be offered at the Funeral Home at 7pm with C.W.L. prayers to follow. Cremation to take place.
The Resurrection Mass will take place at St. Usrsula Church, 205 Tweedsmuir Avenue West, on Friday May 24, at 11am. The Interment will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
