Peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Irene (nee Kita), formerly of Burford, in her 94th year. Beloved Wife of the late John Poremba (2015). Loving Mom of Ed (Dale) and Diane. Cherished Babcia of Jeremy, Jeff, Mandy, Terra (Nate), Matthew (Danielle) and Carly. Predeceased by her son Stan (2017), brothers Frank and John, and sister Antoinette. Irene will be sadly missed by her caregiver Bozena Poreba and her many family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, 183 King Street, Burford on Friday May 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines, Ontario.
