George Duncan Wilson was born in Grangemouth, Scotland on October 25, 1935. At 16 he joined the Merchant Navy and went to sea; he returned home at the age of 23.
George and his wife, Pat, came to Canada in 1959. He began a long and successful career in sales beginning with Nabob and retiring from Harvest Meat.
George is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jean; his children, Gail Desjardins (Rocky), Kendra (Ken) Black, Devin (Tracie) Gray, Branden (Deena) Gray; grandchildren, Kirk, Kirstie, Morgan, Peyton, Dylan, Anson, Danika, Grace and Samantha.
George loved to tell everyone about his beloved grandchildren. They brought much love and joy into his life, as he did the same to all of ours.
