Obituary of Fred “Duff” Gibson
Gibson, Fred “Duff” of Woodstock and formerly a longtime resident of Aylmer passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, May 23, 2019. He was 76. Beloved husband of Maureen (McAneney) Gibson. Dear father of Bill(Natasha) of Eden, Brenda Pendriegh(Bill) of Whitby, Nancy Hodgson(Bill) of Barrie and the late Dan Gibson(1998). Loving grandfather of Jacqueline(Mark), Randy-Lynn(Brian), Cassandra(Anthony), Sean(Nicole), Brittany(Brian), Code(Amanda), Nick, Stephanie, Christopher(Vanessa), Michael, Kate, Taylor(Jake), Bailey, Hannah. He will be missed by a sister Vivian Clunas and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Barb and a brother Archie. Born in Tillsonburg on December 14, 1942, son of the late Fred and Bernice (Baldwin) Gibson. His greatest joys were his family, friends and golfing. Fred was a welder, metal fabricator and millwright in the St. Thomas area. The funeral services will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11:00 am.
