It is with broken hearts that the family of the late
F. GEORGE GREEN of Grand Bank announces his
passing. Mr. Green passed away at the U.S. Memorial
Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Monday, May
20th, 2019 at the age of
91. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories
are his sons, Kenneth Green (Pierrette) of Fredericton, NB, and Wayne
Green (Chastity) of Fredericton, NB; daughters, Elaine Hillier of Bay
Roberts, and Sherry Green of Grand Bank; 7 grandchildren; 9
great-grandchildren; sisters, Susie Grandy, Edith Winsor, and Ethel
Cuff; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
George was predeceased by his wife, Violet Green; parents, Fred
& Frances Green; son, Frederick Green; brothers, Caleb and
Scott Green; and sisters, Reta Blake, Margaret Boland, and Mary Green.
The Green Family will be
accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Grand Bank on
Tuesday, May 21st from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm; and Wednesday, May
22nd from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will take place at the
United Church, Grand Bank on Thursday, May
23rd at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Grand
Bank.
In George’s memory donations can be made to
the Grand Bank United Church Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully
accepted.
