Obituary of Evelyn Mucha
It is with great sadness the family of Evelyn Mucha announces her passing on May 3rd, 2019. Beloved wife of Mike Mucha for 66 years. Evelyn will be greatly missed by her husband Mike and her 6 children Steven (Karen) Mucha, Peter Mucha, Paul (Ayon) Mucha, Helen (Steve) Hollingsworth, Michael (Glenda) Mucha and Kristen (John) Kasprzak. Evelyn also is remembered by her 9 grandchildren.
Evelyn and Mike operated the Watford Tavern for close to 20 years. Always with a friendly smile and a willingness to bend an ear for any that needed to unload. Many people will remember that Evelyn loved to dance to the music of Speedy (fiddle) and Shirley (piano) at the Tavern in its early years. Evie loved to laugh, was like a kid at Christmas and spread her joy and generosity to everyone around her.
Evelyn spent her final years in Stratford Ontario and during her short illness and passing was surrounded by her husband and children in her home.
Fondly remembered in this poem by her daughter Helen:
While stepping out for a breath
A song birds voice I heard overhead
It flew about from tree to tree
A female cardinal as pretty as could be
For three days straight she stayed close by
To show us she was keeping an eye
To wake us with her song so clear
To help distract us from what was so near
Reminding us mom will always be here
Within our hearts so close and dear

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Evelyn
