Elsie Madeline Streeter – age 90, of Coldbrook, passed away
on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Born in Falmouth, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Clara (Lyon)
Deal. Elsie had been employed as a personal care worker. She was a
Brownie leader and Sunday school teacher. She was also a former member
of the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Hantsport and in recent
years was an active member of the St. James Anglican Church,
Kentville. She is survived by two sons, Henry (Ada Jean), White Rock;
Bruce (Sarah), Coldbrook; five grandchildren and 10 great
grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she
was predeceased by her husband, Henry and sister, Ada Berry. Cremation
has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral
service, by request. A private family graveside service will take
place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County. Donations in
memory may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation, the Canadian
Cancer Society or the St. James Anglican Church, Kentville. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and
Cremation Services, Kentville.
