Bauman, Elizabeth “Betty”
Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at St. Mary’s General Hospital at the age of 74.
Beloved wife of James Bauman for 56 years.
Loving mother of Christine Boyko (Dave) and Kevin Bauman (Erica).
Cherished grandma of Andrew (Stephanie), Danielle (Cody), Bradley and Justin and proud great-grandma of Maverick.
Survived by her aunt, Anne Wrightson, her nephew, Daniel McDonald and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her parents Florence and Daniel McDonald and her brother Malcolm McDonald (Gwen).
Elizabeth’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, immediately following the visitation, at 4:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke, Diabetes Canada or St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation- Cardiac Care Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
Elizabeth’s family would like to thank Dr. Chamberlain, Dr. Langridge and the wonderful nurses from St. Mary’s Hospital for their compassionate care and support.
