1934-2019
The death occurred peacefully
at Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’leary, P.E.I. on Monday,
May 6, 2019, of Eileen Dorothy (nee Clements) Apblett of
O’leary, aged 84 years.
Eileen was born in Sydney, NS, to the late Wallace and
Frances (nee Gosse) Apblett.
Beloved wife of the late Douglas Apblett and loving mother of
John (Monique Richard), Beaverbrook, NB, Allen (Natalie Menzies),
Stillwater, Oklahoma and Louise (Craig Hall), Mount Pleasant, PE. Also
lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, David, Nicole and Laura;
great grandchildren, Vienna, Knox and Beckham. Survived by many
relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her sons, Douglas Edward “Little
Dougie” in infancy and Alexander “Alex”
Robert.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd.,
Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours held.
A funeral service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel, Sydney, NS.
on Friday, May 10at 11 a.m., with a reception to
follow.
Interment will take place in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens,
Sydney at a later date.
