Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by his loving family and friends, on Friday May 10, 2019 at the age of 74 due to complications from heart surgery. Predeceased by his father, Jim Power; his brother Eugene Power; brothers-in-law Herb Gulliver, Dave Sheehan; and sister-in-law Cathy Gulliver. Left to mourn with broken hearts are his wife of almost 49 years, Dianna; his one and only son, Stephen Power (Karen); only daughter, Sonya Ennis (Robert); and his pride and joy, 5 grandchildren: Nicholas Ennis, Heather Power, Natalie Ennis, Jessica Power and Matthew Power. Also left are his mother Violet Power; sisters: Ann Power (Ed), Catherine Cahill (David) and Brenda Jeddore (Dan); brothers: Jimmy (Susan), John, Loyola, Steve (Jeanette) and Wayne (Bobbi;) and sister-in-law Madonna. Fox also had a close family bond with Dianna’s family: Brenda Lewis (Barry), AnnMarie Lake (Fred), Doris Squires (Frank), Patsy Sheehan, Elva Owen (Ross), Mike Gulliver and sister-in-law Grace Gulliver. Also a large number of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends (too numerous to mention) but especially his niece/godchild Amanda Lewis Ledrew (Brad), nephew/godchild Wade Sheehan and Pat and Madonna O’Connell. Fox also leaves a large number of bandmates and musicians from over 60 years of playing music. Your support meant a lot to the family in his time of need. Cremation has taken place as per Fox’s request. The family will receive visitors at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Monday May 13, 2019 and Tuesday May 14, 2019 from 1-5 pm and 7-9 pm. We encourage family and friends to share photos, music and memories. Funeral Mass on Wednesday May 15, 2019 at St Teresa’s Church at 9:30 a.m. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
