ARMSTRONG, Edward Arnold
Ed passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on May 28, 2019 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Joann (Meyer) for 59 years. Predeceased by his parents William and Genevieve Armstrong. Much loved father of Teresa and Pat, Barb and Dale, Bonnie and Bill, Ted and Jane, and Tom and April. Dear brother to Mary, Joan, Tom and the late, Ken and Jack. Loving grandfather to Jordan, Shaun, Ben, Courtney, Justine, Billy, Brad, Nathan, Reegan, Sara, Justin, Mia, and Anastasia. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and extended family, friends and neighbours. Ed worked at Dofasco for 35 years and then retired to his farm where he continued to live with Joann. Special thanks for the wonderful care provided by the CCAC who helped Ed stay home on the farm he loved and fondly named Poverty Hollow. Visitation will be held at Miller Funeral Chapel, 29 Cayuga St. N., Cayuga on Monday, June 3, from 1-4pm and 6-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 21 Ottawa St. S., Cayuga on Tuesday, June 4 at 11am.
