Doreen Smith July 23 1932 May 11 2019 (age 86)

It is with broken hearts that the family of Doreen Mary Jane Smith announce the passing of our beloved mother and sister on May 11, 2019 at the age of 86.
Mom was born on July 23, 1932 to Wesley and Agnes (Glacken) Holliday.
She is survived by her loving family: her daughters Marilyn Reiss of Regina Beach, SK and Shannon Smith of Prince Albert, SK; her sister Wendy Jawniak of Regina Beach, SK; her grandson Cory (Sara) Reiss and her great grandsons Stetson and Weston Reiss of Vibank, SK; and her special boys Fred Simpson Jr. and Tony Mathew.
She is predeceased by her husband Arthur Reiss (1970); her second husband Ken Smith (2007); her son Kim Reiss (2009); her granddaughter Kelly Reiss (2006); and her brother-in-law Ted Jawniak (2011).
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at the Herb Bassett Home for providing care and friendship to Mom over the past year.
At Mom’s request, no funeral service will be held. She will be laid to rest beside her cherished husband, Art, in Regina, SK at a later date.
“…O for the touch of a vanished hand, And the sound of a voice that is still!…
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel (306) 922-4729.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Doreen Smith July 23 1932 May 11 2019 (age 86)..
