Obituary for Donald William Morrison
On Wednesday, May 22, in his 75th year, Donald Morrison passed away peacefully while surrounded by his beloved family after a very short battle with cancer.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Coraline, and his four children, Bill (Melody), Chris, Tara (Rob) and Christopher (Nancy). Born in Westville, Nova Scotia along with his 7 siblings, Judy, Jim, John, Eleanor, Deborah, Joe and Ken, there was nothing more important to him than family. He was an incredible husband, father and especially a Poppy to his 10 precious grandchildren, Jordanna, Emmily, Brooke, Carly, Cameron, Jessica, Jared, Lexi, Gavin and Madalyn. After working 39 years at the Ford Motor Company in Oakville, he retired to spend time with his beloved wife and his golf clubs, as a member of the Knollwood Golf Club. He had an infectious smile and the ability to make friends wherever he went. He will be extremely missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 27 from 4-8 pm at The Villages of Brantwell Clubhouse, 2120 Itabashi Way, Unit 283, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Juravinski Cancer Center in Hamilton in memory of Don for the wonderful service they provided him
