Donald Cowan
(Resident of Wilberforce, Ontario)
Peacefully at Haliburton Hospital with his family by his side on Thursday afternoon, May 23, 2019 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Lavinda Cowan (nee Beattie) for over 56 years. Loving father of Donald, Darryl (ReNee) and Trevor (Brenda). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Curtis, Shelby-Lynn, Sydney and Troy. Predeceased by his brother Norm. Don worked for Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) for over 25 years. Don & Lavinda moved to Wilberforce permanently in 2000.
Private Graveside Service
A Private Graveside service will take place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation – Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
