Death Notice
WALSH, David – Peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, David Wilson Walsh, age 56. Beloved son of the late Helen and John Walsh. Dear brother of Mary Helen, John (Mary), and the late Matthew (2004). Proud uncle of Jennifer (Bill Hewerdine), Stephanie Partridge, Austin Partridge, Brian Partridge (Shannon), Rhonda, Justine (Barry Theal), John, Michael and great-uncle of Matthew, Danielle and Bradley Hewerdine.
He is fondly remembered by numerous friends in London, Ingersoll, St. Thomas and Grand Bend. David was a graduate of the Fanshawe Culinary Arts Program and went on to run several successful restaurants. He always enjoyed preparing meals for friends. Dave’s warmth, strength and sense of humour allowed him to bravely face his battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed.
The memorial service will be conducted at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, London, on Tuesday, May 21 at 7 pm, with visitation preceding from 6-7 pm. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the London Humane Society would be appreciated.
