Betty Lavery (nee Hannaford):
Passed away peacefully from natural causes on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the age of 91. She was a lifelong member of Kitchener Gospel Temple and looked forward to being with her Lord and Saviour.
Beloved wife of Robert for 72 years.
Loving mother of Larry (Marion), Brian (Karen), and Brenda (Barry) Brodofske.
Cherished grandma of six grandchildren and their spouses as well as nine great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her brother Ted Hannaford and survived by her brother Donald (Christina) Hannaford. Also survived by her brother-in-law Bill Lavery.
Betty’s family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, (519)749-8467. Visitation will be continued at the Kitchener Gospel Temple, 9 Conway Drive, Kitchener, from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019 prior to the service at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
