BERNADETTE DRAKE 19472019

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late
BERNADETTE DRAKE of Little Bay announces her passing. Bernadette
passed away at the U.S. Memorial Health Care center in St. Lawrence on
May 1, 2019 at the age of 71. Leaving to mourn with a
lifetime of wonderful memories are her son, Bradley Francis Drake
(Tammy Lambe) of Marystown; daughter, Lynne Rouse (Sam) of Paradise; 5
grandchildren, Cameron, Robyn, Curtis, Aidan, and Sophie; brothers,
Bart Walsh (Betty) of Little Bay, Frank Walsh (Gladys) of Little Bay,
Wayne Walsh (Linda) of Little Bay, Beaton Walsh (Debbie) of
Little Bay, Luke Walsh of St. John’s, and Brian Walsh of St.
John’s; sisters, Geraldine Hodder of Lab City, Theresa
Morris (Patrick) of Little Bay, Marilyn Walsh of St. John’s,
and Mary Walsh of Sudbury, Ont.; sister-in-law, Adele Walsh of Little
Bay; plus a large circle of extended family and
friends. Bernadette was predeceased by her husband,
Alphonsus Drake; her parents, Luke and Mary Walsh; brothers, Arch
Walsh and Gerard Walsh; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Walsh, and Lorraine
Walsh; and brother-in-law, Bernard
Hodder.
The Drake Family will be accepting visitors at
Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Thursday, May
2nd form 10:00 am to 8:00
p.m. and Friday, May 3rd form 10:00 am to 8:00
pm. Vigil will take place Friday, May
3rd at 7:00 p.m. Mass
of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic
Church in Marystown on Saturday, May 4th at 10:00
a.m.
Interment to follow at
Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Little Bay.
In Bernadette’s
memory donations may be made to the Family Aid Center in
Marystown.
