Barry Wilfred Ehman May 20th 2019

Barry Wilfred Ehman was born in Holdfast, Saskatchewan and passed away on May 20, 2019 at the Kootenay Boundary Hospital surrounded by his family.
He is predeceased by his parents Lillian and Daniel Ehman.
Barry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Glenna, his son Kevin (Tracey) Ehman, his daughter Colleen Jmaeff and his grandchildren; Rachel, Daniel, Matti and Jett.
Barry was employed by Canadian Pacific Airlines and then Pacific Western Airlines as Station Manager at the Castlegar Airport until his retirement in 1988.
Barry enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He always looked forward to his annual trip to the ‘cabin’ with his close friends. His greatest pride was spending time in his garden and watching it grow.
Barry was quick witted and always ready to pull a ‘prank’ on his friends. He was a great story teller and could make you believe the most outrageous of things were actually real. His laughter was contagious and he loved to make others laugh.
The family wishes to thank all of their friends and family for their support. Thank you also to Dr. Peachell, Dr. Cochrane and all of the staff in I.C.U of KBRH.
Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements. You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Barry Wilfred Ehman May 20th 2019..
